As mentioned in my previous post both Vaughan and I are currently wading waist-deep through research reports, academic journals and other university texts. Yes indeed, it's essay time again, hoorah! Stress levels are running quite high at the moment with me having to finish three papers by the end of October and Vaughan two... Two lights in the darkness though: the arrival of Vaughan's mum on Saturday (a week-long trip to Honshu awaits!) and finally, blissfully, the end of the New Zealand academic year in November. Bring it on :-).
Study-breaks are absolutely necessary so on Friday night we headed into Tenjin, where we first met Roman (in black-&-white top) for dinner and then caught up at the Fukuoka Now release party with Jenni & her friends (this picture was taken by Fukuoka Now by the way). A fun, relaxing evening out, just what the doctor ordered!
