Six days

It's been quiet on the blog front lately but that's certainly not a reflection of the happenings in the real world! During the past week I've prepared for a job interview, updated my computer skills (needed for said job), researched possible volunteer work in Japan & elsewhere, struggled with insomnia, made some key decisions with V. relating our future & organised a dinner party to toast in the new year with fellow JETs Maria, Roman, Kanapu, Fiona & Dean.
Most of these projects went off without a hitch: our 4-course meal received plenty of praise (Vaughan's homemade pie in particular was a real crowd-pleaser!), the job interview the following day ended with an invitation to come by for a second chat and my temporary sleeplessness is a thing of the past :-). Figuring out the next year of our life has been a bit more challenging, but more on that later...

Sounds like an intriguing and thought provoking week - no wonder you had some sleepless nights! And well done on the job thing! Awesome. When will you find out the job is yours?

Looking forward to hearing your future plans...

Take care and keep smiling from Pelly experiencing a very wintery summer's day in Palmerston North
