UNESCO World Cultural Heritage sites hold an almost magnetic power over Vaughan: place him in a 100 km radius from one and he usually jumps on a bus/motorbike/rickshaw to experience the magic. Yet in China we only visited one - The Humble Administrator's Garden (real name!) in Suzhou. And what did we do there besides drink jasmine tea & stroll languidly in the maze-like garden? Well, trying to outrun speedy Chinese tour guides with ear-splitting microphones took quite a lot of energy, but we managed to take some silly photos as well. These two are my favorites :-).
