The past week has been filled with plenty of good moments, and here are those to remember:
- Celebrating Keith & Nuala's wedding at a lovely gathering in their home last Saturday. I put on a new dress, caught up with good friends and did lots of silly dancing to VERY silly music (including MC Hammer, Vanilla Ice and the likes....)!
- Vaughan's boss offering me some Words of Wisdom that resulted in a veritable Aha!-moment. More to follow on this later...
- A visit from my lovely friend/colleague Sahra who just returned to NZ after a 4-month trip overseas
- The lights of Tawa's Christmas tree shining into our living room
- Being pleasantly surprised by the wonderful film Away We Go
- The unexpected delight of a two-hour phonecall from Japan from one of my oldest & dearest friends Liesbeth
- Getting a geekish kick out off the immensely interesting BBC documentary How Art Made the World (I seem to have a taste for eloquent, erudite English tv presenters such as Michael Woods, Michael Palin & Nigel Spivey - oh dear, how very nerdy...).
- Receiving a Fantastic Opportunity for personal and professional development in 2010 which I hope to explore further :-)
