We're well into our stay in Tanzania (two wonderful weeks so far) but power outages and no time to access the internet have prevented me from getting online. The past seven days in particular have been action-packed and fun-filled, thanks to a detailed schedule prepared for us by the most welcoming group of Tanzanians ever - former NZAID scholars Muganda, Peter, Alfan and Ummy. Their hospitality, generosity and enthusiasm were truly humbling and we can't say "Asante sana" enough for the VIP treatment we received! Not only were we shown several tourist spots in and around Morogoro & the Udzungwa Mountains, but we got an insider's glimpse into their daily lives, which felt like a real privilege. A warm welcome
