While this photo (taken in an over-the-top Hong Kong decorations store) might suggest that I'm some hyped-up, manic Christmas freak, I'm actually not really in the spirit this year. Hopefully this will change soon because we're driving up to Taranaki this morning to join the Curd clan for a Kiwi Christmas - bring on family time, our annual dip in the Tasman Sea, and summer food!
