Last night was the first time I got to wear the yukata (summer kimono) I bought last year, quite an exciting occasion! Unfortunately it coincided with the goodbye dinner my (ex-)boss Nick threw for me and departing colleague Iwashita-san (far right on photo above). After a few heartfelt speeches & gifts (one of them an album with photos & messages from all FN contributors - great!), some tears flowed. Saying sayonara to this city and its people is bloody tough...
